Purchased a ticket online for my 3 year old to go there on a Sunday. Charge in total was £12 (thinking it would be better to prebook to avoid potentially a busy day).

Upon arrival I was informed I hadn't paid for myself. I enquired why I must pay for myself? I'm not playing, I'm merely there to supervise. Their website seemed poor at stipulating this rule. Therefore, I paid an extra 2 pounds for myself, and another 2 pounds for my 13 year old daughter. Initially they tried to charge £13.50 for my daughter, until I made it very clear she wasn't there to play.

I concluded that their rules are poor especially when booking through the website. When you prebook all this information should be made clear.

The Car park is small, and tight. However there are extra spaces located around the back.

Once inside the play area itself is impressive with plenty of fun to be had for a 3 year old. The trampolines were announced as "open" at 10.50am. I can only assume the first 20 mins of our visit meant that they weren't open, therefore did we pay the same price for those to be closed? I don't know.

The staff on the reception aren't interested in explaining anything to you upon entry. Which is fine. I'm familiar with play areas, but I'm not so familiar with having to pay for myself to enter.

I sampled a coffee from the cafe. Picture attached. Cup half full but charged full price. Not impressive service.

Positives - 90 mins play for the little one. Not too busy for a Sunday morning. Nice and clean. Babies area. Older kids areas.

The best part about this place will be leaving and never returning.

Side note. Take extra pound coins for the many machines scattered around the venue as the children will no doubt like to ride these. If you're a card only type of person (like me) this can be a bit of a pain, and puts unnecessary pressure on parents who pay over the odds (in my opinion) for just 90 mins play.

The food is massively overpriced for what you get. The sandwiches don't come with chips you have to buy them extra.

Decided not to go we thought having to pay for a 1 year&3 week old grandchild and £13.50 for 4 year old then £2.75 for my wife & myself each to sit during tea and toast how much that would have cost us ridiculous for 1.5 hours for to tiny kids and 2 old people £27.50 not including snakes too muck
No the wonder the place is almost empty. We were there about 3 years ago and the price was less than half of this
We know you have to maintain the building and apparatus and pay staff.....IF it were cheap than these prices... by far you would fill the place and take lots more money... Instead of being almost empty...
A little bit of something is BETTER than all of nothing... I can't see this place staying open much longer even though the kids enjoy it.... This not London..

I attended the Funshack today with my granddaughter. There was a special needs teenager that was out of control and his carers had no control over him.
The staff were amazing and first they extended our time but my granddaughter was scared and wanted to leave so the staff gave us 2 free passes for another visit.
They went above and beyond and made a bad situation a lot better. Well done.

Never been here before Went on a Sunday evening with my toddler who’s 3. Me and my partner. Wasn’t the nicest on reception. She just done her job at serving us.
Very weird ; that they charge for us adults but aslong as my little boy had a good time. Anyways ; I can’t get over the chairs. So I’m a size 18 and I honestly couldn’t squeeze in to sit at the table. So if your plus size - your gonna stand
There are like 3 free chairs around. So I did sit in one of them but felt abit awkward as people were probs aware I couldn’t fit in the main chairs as they weren’t moveable
Staff are just standing around. Arms folded. Not welcoming. You can tell they don’t want us there. We didn’t stay very long as to the seating and the music was soo loud.
Again staff were miserable
But the play areas is lovely. Lots for them to do
Too many negative signs around. Very off putting and not welcoming; like a ridiculous amount of signs !! Overall; never again. If they changed the seating I’d be back but can’t see that happening anytime soon.

Both the boys had fun but it is a little on the pricey side of things. Especially if you’re also planning on eating in there on top of the admission fees. There are several other play areas in the North East that are far cheaper, although they may not be as big as this one.

Would rate higher if would be cheaper.
For 2 kids and my self did pay 30.40 £ .
I don't know where world going.
Looks like kids can't go enjoy if parents don't have money. Should be price 4-5£ per kid and don't mind pay 2£ for adult.

Very expensive total cost of £22.50 for a one year old, 3 year old and myself for 1.5 hours. Children's meals of chicken nuggets and chips were awful, cost of 2 meals and three drinks came to over £13! Will not be returning.

I came to the fun shack today at Seaham on my entry there was a pile of half price tickets I asked if I could have one the young girl said she wasn't allowed whitch was fair enough but they then put them In the bin because they run out tomorrow I can't see the logic in that in this day and age it's nice to be nice sometimes rules can be broken a little
