It's my own fault (aka always check your food before leaving with a carry-out order)...

Just got back from Leña y Carbón (Bloomfield), where I ordered the quarter chicken, and specifically ordered white meat, because I really don't like dark meat. And so of course, I got home and... leg/thigh quarter! Unfortunately, I live too far away to go back...

In an almost empty restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, I don't understand how they can get the order so wrong. It's unlikely that I'll ever go back there again...

love their food soo much. but their 1/4 chicken with the two sides… in 2022 it was $8. 2024 the same exact meal is now $13.86 🥲🥲 inflation is a mf but i will continue to support ❤️

We went to Q’endo with high speciation this place had good review but we had a few observations. We the ceviche it was amazing fresh and authentic to drink we had the Maracuya drink and but the chicha morada was not great a little watery to our taste we had better ones. The 1/4 pollo a la brasa look a little over cook and very small same with the anticucho over seasoning and really dried corn. Rice for the arroz con mariscos a bit under cooked. Really nice place but need to improve in the over all food authentic experience.

Solía visitar al lugar porque me recuerda a casa y hoy que compré para llevar y compartir con mi familia, la leche de tigre está insípida, la salsa verde está agria. El arroz con mariscos es un simple arroz amarillo sin sabor. Es una pena esto, me gustaba este restaurante.

What an awesome spot! Cant believe I havent even been here before.

The decor is fun and lively and the food is delicious! We got the green spaghetti with chicken and chaufa with steak. Everything was good and delicious. The steak was nicely flavored and cooked to our preference. The green spaghetti was nice and creamy. Not sure how the sauce was made but you can also taste some cheesy goodness to it too! Chicken was a nice protein addition. The dishes came in with edible flowers and gave a pop of colour to the plate.

The juices were quite sweet but good! Wish I had some room for dessert. Although service was a little slower than usual, staff was very polite. However they seemed quite busy with to-go orders as well. Overall we had a really enjoyable time and loved everything we ordered!

Highly recommend and hope to be back!

Phenomenal! My husband and I were craving Peruvian cuisine and this restaurant blew our minds. I ordered the Peru a lo pobre with chicken and my husband ordered it with steak. The chicken was so amazingly flavorful. It was even tastier than the steak!! I loved the combination of sweet, savory, and salty flavors that the dish had to offer. The overall atmosphere was nice, clean, and simple. The staff was very friendly. I can’t wait to come back and try more food!

I’ve eaten here a few times. Seafood paella is my go to. Nice size portion and flavorful. Chicken kabobs, presented beautifully but a little dry. Love the beans. Vegetarian and well seasoned.
