As to repairs ... Reported a door not closing today, guy came out, took the entire door off and put it back on again .... And it still isn't closing.

Only James Free operatives are excellent.

The rent is so expensive and not worth the money we are all paying, place is falling apart and takes so long for then to fix it and they make a fuss, sick of calling them.

I work full time and they still insist on chapping my door when they know to call in advance.

They don't care about the environment most people are living in it's shocking.

Disgrace of a housing association STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS POSSIBLE rude staff and very unhelpful and not professional at all my friend had a phone call last week from Damian Calderwood in regards to being considered for a new build in Longpark area of Kilmarnock a week later he turns up out the blue to where she’s currently living (living with myself at present) to inspect the property that is under a completely different housing association and was rude with in the house and then to be told later that day that no offer will be made and while on the phone she was getting treated like garbage not listening to her or her concerns at all STAY AWAY FROM THESES PEOPLE not worth the time or energy

Phoned about my rent as I was confused (first home and im young) thought I was paying way more than it was so phoned them up when there was an increase. Woman on phone was lovely and patient, wasn't hesitatent to go threw it with me more than once. Also set up a direct debit while I was there. Dunno what all the bad reviews are for. If you communicate properly, then it's all good.

Had been advised the front door buzzer to the flat would have been repaired before Christmas (Dec’22). We’re now in June the following year and nothing. Having items delivered to the flat is a nightmare. So disappointed. UPDATE… now Jan’24 still nothing despite repeated requests

Took a call from a housing officer today on behalf of my daughter. When attempting to explain my daughters concerns she stated she couldn't hear me despite having been able to hear me up to that point and hung up. I am appalled that someone in a responsible role like this can be as rude and dismissive when dealing with a member of the public.
The website states the CH "provide high quality customer service". That is certainly not what I experienced today.
I would hope that this review would illicit a response from a senior manager.

Rented a 2 bedroom semi from these jokers, when we got the keys and started moving our possession in we noticed only 2 bulbs where left the rest where missing, £30 bill in the electrical meter
( which they still haven’t paid to Scottish power from the 17/10/20 ) - still getting letters about it even know it’s nothing to do with us.
Blood on one of the bedroom doors, overall condition of the property was filthy - door frames that have obviously been chewed by a dog which Cunningham housing insisted that there was nothing wrong with this? We ended up paying a joiner to repair it our selfs.
Upstairs windows aren’t sealed correctly.
The property has dampness through out where mold has been occurring.

The amount of glass which was left broken on the outside of the property was a disgrace - we where told new windows where fitted by them.

The amount of slaters that where present in this property are abnormal contacted Cunningham housing about this but according to them it is normal to see slaters! Which we replied yes it maybe normal to see 1-2 not 10+ on a daily Basis.

The garden was left in a awful mess which we where left to clear up.

We have found else where to stay so we handed our notice in to be told the following.

1 the property must be cleaned to a high standard- is this a joke?

2 garden must be maintained to a high standard ?

3 any damage must be repaired.

It’s obvious that this didn’t apply to the last tenant, this company is an absolute joke renting with them has easily been a huge mistake I would not recommend anyone rents with them.

They should really change there name to
Cunningham jokers association.

Pretend to operate a repairs service but all you do is leave a message on an answerphone and hope they get back to you. Happy to charge some of the highest rents for housing falling to bits while looking like big guys because they give the odd few quid to charities etc. Would call them cowboys but that would be an insult to cowboys
