Came for Saturday food pantry and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was super nice and friendly. They ask you a little bit about yourself and pray for you and then take you to get the food. What I received was actually meal worthy- beans, rice, peanut butter, jelly, oats, pasta and meat sauce bread and rice. My family is going to eat well thanks to Journey Church and I reallly appreciate them!

I love The Journey! I've been going to this church since 2008 and it is where I have grown in the Lord and met some Godly friends! People genuinely care here and do their best to help you feel welcome!

Pastor isn't here. Sermon was kind of obvious and more personal to him. No windows and music is very loud.

No conviction. Its staged. It's more about numbers rather than people truly being saved. No preaching or teaching about the evidence of faith which is repentance and a life transformation. If he touches on sin it is very little but not enough read Hebrews 4:12. No talking about being born again. If you want to hear what sounds good, go here. If you want to truly know Jesus Christ and grow in the faith, read the Bible and ask God for wisdom and understanding if you are born again you will have the Holy Spirit living inside of you and HE will guide you into all Truth. If you want deep teaching listen to Charles Lawson or Paul Washer on Youtube.

I have been attending the Journey for 2-3 years now. I'm be honest, I've tried 3-4 churches that are closer to me to avoid the long drive, but nothing feels like home like The Journey. So I cross cities, because its just that good. Its the church I consider home. Pastor James speaks from the heart, and really helps you understand God's word. I probably tear up more during service, than I can remember. Not only that, all the welcoming faces all over, serving the Church. I also love the music. All of the people leading worship, really help get you in the mood. Such talent as well. I always leave a service feeling refreshed and happy. Plus my two boys love it! Thank you The Journey!!
