I use this Metro every day. The shelves are always stocked and the staff is friendly and helpful. They take great care to have ethe best produce and meat sections in this part of the East end as far as I have found. The sales here are awesome

I recently visited Metro at 155 Clarke Rd, in London, Ontario, with the intent of purchasing oysters, and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Upon arriving at the seafood counter, I waited over 10 minutes for someone to assist me. Despite the wait, no one showed up.

In an effort to get help, my husband approached several employees, and shockingly, each one refused to assist, claiming they did not work in the seafood department. This response is unacceptable—basic customer service dictates that if an employee cannot help directly, they should at least attempt to find someone who can.

Growing increasingly frustrated, my husband approached two separate employees in the back and simply asked if they could grab a box of oysters for us. Both refused. He then asked another employee to page someone from the seafood department, and while she did page them, we waited an additional five minutes with no response. Determined to resolve the issue, my husband asked yet another employee to page the seafood department again, and still, no one came.

In total, we waited around 25 minutes without receiving any help. This is absolutely unacceptable. In what world is it reasonable to make a customer wait this long just to make a simple purchase? The lack of initiative and accountability from the staff at this Metro location is appalling, and it demonstrates a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

This experience left such a bad taste that I will not be returning to Metro for my grocery needs. If this is the standard of service they provide, then it is clear that customers are not a priority.

To anyone reading this, I strongly urge you to consider shopping elsewhere where your time and business are valued. This Metro location has certainly lost my business.

High prices, with the worst customer service. Stop trying to force people to check out their own groceries. 5 of us in line and nobody using self checkout, but 2 employees standing their doing nothing instead of opening another checkout. Ridiculous. Not the employees fault, their just following management directions to inconvenience the customer.

Highly impressed with this Metro! The store was clean and fully stocked with everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Will definitely be returning for my future shopping needs!

Great offerings, good quality food. The miss here is the staff. The girl at the deli rolled her eyes at me and was snotty because she doesn't like serving prosciutto. I get it's time consuming but there's no need for that behavior. When I got the cashier, there was a line developing and she was complaining to me that the girl in the self checkout just stands there and doesn't help distribute the lines. I understand where she's coming from but, don't take your frustrations out on customers.

Average store at best. The store needs updating in general.

It has a decent selection of beer and wine but the super store has a better selection of beer.

Prices are higher than normal. The eggs were prices decently with the same price as others.

I don't frequent this store, but found it confusing with the pop and chip selection in several different areas of the store. It seemed like they ran out of room and just placed crates wherever there was room.

Metro. Superstore. They both have Goat Milk in stock. And my wife and I are food sensitive to Cows Milk.

While in the store. I had to check out the Orchids. I found a couple very striking coloured "Watercolours" varieties. Almost bought 1 - but, as my wife reminded me - "you have no windowsill space, see..." plus, a woman (staff) asked me if I needed help, "I didn't", but a conversation ensued between two Orchid Lovers, growing tips and information on getting them to reblooming etc. I'm glad I was there for that.
I did buy a Raspberry cheesecake, to take home and share with my Sweetheart.
